Carla McMath is from Chattanooga, TN and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She also has a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Healthcare Administration. Carla has spent the entirety of her career in healthcare with over 32 years of service at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. She relocated to Virginia in July 2022 and currently works as the Medicaid Finance Director for Sentara Healthcare. Carla volunteers for the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga providing free income tax preparation for the low-income and elderly populations. She serves as a TN Achieves mentor aiding high school seniors in completing college applications, FAFSA, and ensuring the students meet all required scholarship deadlines.
