I was appointed as a Commission on Dental Accreditation site visitor consultant in 2014 and served as the President of the Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association 2014-2015. My teaching as evolved over the years, I served as the Dental Hygiene Program Director from 2012-2021 and in spring of 2021 was appointed Director of Communitty and Colloborative Partnerships. My passion continues to be clinical education, collaborative care, communitty service and dental public health. When not working I enjoy time with family and friends, yoga, being outside and relaxing on Kerr Lake.
